Our budget prices relate in part to the fact that this is a school camp as well as a function venue, so if you choose to use the bedrooms be aware that the bedrooms are small and bathrooms are shared (unlike a motel). Some of our organizers choose to charge guests for accommodation, others use the gift vouchers. The choice is yours. We discourage guests drinking and driving so make our beds available at no extra cost which is especially appreciated by local folk.

Mild, sunny days; warm, balmy evenings and cool nights.
We enjoy 1000 hours more sunshine than Melbourne!
Accommodation
We have 82 beds. Most are bunk beds, but we also provide single and double beds in private rooms for group organisers' family needs.
Where to find us
Snowy River Camp is in sunny North East Victoria, in the scenic Tallangatta Valley amid the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. A variety of domesticated farm & native animals mix freely with guests in our large, landscaped garden

What are the food options?
We offer 4 standard menus or you may self-cater. (Please ask for a separate menu option list for weddings).
Who will look after the food?
Even if you cater we can supply staff to serve if required. Staff to serve are charged per hour each with a minimum of 3 hours. Should you require this option this cost is over and above the self catering or catering charges. We suggest for instance that a group of 50 persons would require two staff to serve finger food. Catered groups note the charges for cooking and serving a buffet roast are included in the cost of the meal.
What about music?
Maybe you have your own band? There are many options we can go through with you, there are professionals we can recommend or Peter has a wide range of music to suit different age groups and is never happier than when he is playing his selections.. using his comprehensive sound system. POA

Snowy River gift vouchers?
This is a specialty of Snowy River. We offer gift vouchers to guests to offset the cost of your celebration, be it birthday, anniversary or wedding. Guests purchase gift vouchers from us and we deduct these payments from your venue/catering costs. There have been times we have had to pay you, the guest!
